Fourthsight Privacy Policy
Fourthsight is a fantasy football analysis app. It is built so that your fantasy data stays on your device. We do not run accounts, we do not have a Fourthsight server that receives your league, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising. We do not collect any personal data.
1. Your ESPN sign-in
- To read your league, you sign in on ESPN's own MyDisney sign-in page, shown inside the app. Fourthsight never sees or stores your ESPN password.
- After you sign in, the app keeps two ESPN session cookies (called
espn_s2andSWID) and their expiry date in your device's Keychain, protected by your passcode and limited to this device. The sign-in window itself keeps no browsing data after it closes. - The app sends those cookies only to ESPN's own fantasy servers, directly from your device, to read your leagues, roster, matchups, standings, free agents and transactions. They are never sent to us or to any other company.
- Fourthsight only reads from ESPN. It cannot set your lineup, make trades or add or drop players.
- Sign out in the app's settings deletes the saved session and the league data cached on your device. Deleting the app also removes the saved session the next time it is installed. ESPN may keep your session valid on its side until it expires, or until you sign out of ESPN elsewhere or change your ESPN password.
- Public leagues can be connected with just a league ID or link, without signing in. In that case no ESPN cookies are stored or sent.
ESPN and MyDisney are run by Disney/ESPN, not by us. Their own privacy policy applies to your ESPN account and to the sign-in page.
2. League data
Your league's settings, teams, rosters, scores and player data are downloaded from ESPN to your device and analysed there. Results and a few preferences (for example your connected league and team, alert settings, cached player values and projections) are saved only on your device. We do not receive them.
3. Public sports data the app downloads
To build projections and trade values, the app downloads public, non-personal data directly from these sources: ESPN's public NFL and fantasy data, Yahoo's public fantasy projections, FantasyPros rankings, FantasyCalc trade values, a public player-ID list hosted on GitHub, and ESPN player photos. These requests do not include your ESPN session, your name or your league's members. Like any website, those services see your device's IP address when the app connects to them, under their own privacy policies.
4. Crash reports
Fourthsight contains no crash-reporting or analytics SDK. If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings (on iPhone and iPad: Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share anonymous crash reports and diagnostics with us. Apple controls that setting and the data in those reports, and we use them only to fix problems in the app.
5. Notifications and Live Activities
Game-day alerts and the lock-screen live score are created on your device. We do not use push notifications or a server for them.
6. What we do not do
- No advertising, ad tracking, or analytics SDKs. No data is used to track you across other apps or websites.
- No data is sold or shared with data brokers.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health data is accessed.
- The app has no AI chat and sends nothing to AI services.
7. Your rights
Because everything described above stays on your device, we hold no personal data about you. You can delete all of the app's data at any time by signing out in the app or deleting the app. If you have a question about your data or this policy, email delgadomanuel62@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU/EEA and UK), you may have rights to access or delete personal data; since we hold none, there is nothing for us to return or erase. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Fourthsight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
